One little problem getting that oil from away to us and we are….. not happy campers.
I remember listening to a talk by Senator (then former governor) King a couple years ago promoting wind power and he said that if oil price had gone up to $5 a gallon during that spike in 2007, some Mainers may have died unable to afford to heat their homes. That stuck with me because if you grew up here as I did, you know how that heating bill hits you like a car payment only worse.
Fossil fuels are just not sustainable for the planet and hold us hostage to outside sources.
No oil= freeze to death.
